J W Nelson, a fellow contributor to Project 13 asked the group if anyone knew whether it was ok to set up an author website that had a .net domain.
This is something I know a little bit about as I work in technology. The answer to J W's question is: Yes, it's perfectly fine. .Net was originally set up for use by Network companies. At one point it got utilized for 'Not for profit enterprises' but you won't find many references to that these days. However, there are no restrictions on its use at all. In fact .net domain registrations are becoming more and more common due to the overpopulation of .com domain names. I just thought I'd post the info. BTW - J W Nelson is a great writer. I would thoroughly recommend checking out a short story collection he has on Amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/L-A-Limo-Tales-ebook/dp/B007DIWZ46/ref=sr_1_7?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1357936069&sr=1-7 I've posted the link to Amazon.co.uk but it's available on Amazon.com too. Mike.
